As a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will lead cross‑functional engineering teams delivering complex Java full‑stack and AI‑enabled solutions. You’ll serve as the primary delivery partner for clients—facilitating clarity, alignment, and predictable execution while helping teams navigate technical challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, delivery, and client engagement, and who understands how modern engineering practices and AI‑assisted development accelerate outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day delivery for Java full‑stack and AI‑driven engineering teams, ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes
- Serve as the primary client partner for delivery, facilitating communication, alignment, and expectation management
- Run Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros, backlog refinement) with a focus on flow, clarity, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, and engineers to break down complex requirements into actionable work
- Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early—and drive resolution across teams and stakeholders
- Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve planning, estimation, documentation, and delivery efficiency
- Ensure teams follow modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and secure development
- Produce clear, concise reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes for internal and client stakeholders
- Facilitate technical discovery sessions and help translate business needs into structured requirements
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across distributed teams
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in technical project management, Agile delivery, or Scrum Master roles
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, particularly in Java, Spring Boot, and full‑stack development environments
- Experience working with or supporting teams building AI‑enabled features or integrating AI/ML services
- Proven ability to partner directly with clients, manage expectations, and guide complex technical initiatives
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience adapting them to real‑world constraints
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices is a plus
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity
